If you do not yet realize the Consumer Electronics Show came and went. This week you'll be doing a retrospective of the light on certain aspects of the hitherto Show. But now, I would like to suggest a complete disassembly of the show and the changes taking place. Currently in force, the Show is unworkable and disasters in many ways.
Persons needing to cover technology, for example, it would be better to sub-shows, running as a parasitic events parallel to the show. These include the Showstoppers event, Pepcom (experiment digital), the debut and mini Pat Meier-Johnson show Piero in the restaurant. The fact that journalists tech you can get more of these four mini events in less time than they can get to participate in the actual presentation says that the show is a functional.
The fact is the demo requires the car, and I have a proposal: building a solid demo outside the city now cheap real estate and CeBIT Hanover/clone model used in Europe.
Show CeBIT in Europe, which is located one hour full from all hotels in Hanover, is the best solution. Using the hotel Las Vegas base gives this idea much better basis than CeBIT, sam.
Hanover is in the middle of nowhere. To attend a trade fair CeBIT, people often buy rooms with local-interest and stay in the bedroom next to the nursery of the family. This is ridiculous. Generally speaking, most people find the space of one hour or more from the hotel and every day to go by train, packaged for Hanover. Is oblednie.
Las Vegas, above all, is the capital of the world with tens of thousands of hotel rooms, making it the perfect hub for mass Show CeBIT similar.
CeBIT is the kind of small world fairs with numerous pavilions the gigantic, many of which are permanently leased by large corporations, which use them as the exhibit Halls. Bus System moves people Pavilion Pavilion. Pavilions are fully designed and many of the crazy. Is the opposite of Stalinesque Las Vegas Convention Center to the charm of wet cardboard box.
CeBIT is also designed to encourage people to and from the instrument. The show is much greater than CE, but the movement of persons is much more efficient and you will never feel crowded or blocked. Las Vegas Convention Center never was so large and has been the Holocaust as a hodge-podge. CES suffers significantly poor planning in Las Vegas and the lack of perspective.
City of Las Vegas is surrounded by vast desert, that has been developed here and there, many of the sprawl of the housing. So often when you build the project, such as the new city centre, which is quite remarkable. But the development have always been more casinos and hotels or breakdowns in the chassis. You need a great world class exhibition showground. Las Vegas knows that the conventions have helped to further the economic success of more than anything else. You cannot see it, the Convention Center must be abandoned Sawmill? Or, at least, supplemented with something modern?
The city has no problems with the Casino you get a beautiful hotel, such as the construction of the dunes and the Desert Inn Bellagio building Wynn and Encore. Large projects are so back in Las Vegas, why not the main building of the actual trade fair world-wide basis to the House standing CES?
