Consumers are looking for large display without the big price tag has several more options than a few years ago, with bonus designs that don't make you want to keep the laptop home of shame. Sony Vaio series EC brings a decent performance and basic but attractive segment of sub-$ 800. Unfortunately its multimedia capabilities leave little to be desired. HD video capabilities are more than up to die, not many audio. And at $ 749, it may not be the best deal for specifications.
