Alienware is an American computer hardware company and a wholly owned subsidiary of Dell, Inc. [1] it mainly gathers third-party components for desktop and laptop computers with custom cabinets for high-performance gaming. These products also support graphically demanding applications such as video editing, audio editing and simulation. Alienware also offers for sale rebadged computer accessories such as headsets, computer mouses, monitors and keyboards. Their hardware distinctive "Sci-Fi" modetendenser, typically including decorative lighting. Alienware was founded in 1996 by Nelson Gonzalez and Alex Aguila. Alienware's corporate headquarters is located in the hammocks, personal Miami-Dade County, Florida near Miami.[2][3]

Dell buys Alienware regarded since 2002, but not take any action until March 22, 2006, when it agreed to buy the company.[5] New subsidiary maintained its autonomy in the design and marketing. However, would Alienwares access to Dell's supply chain, purchasing power and economies of scale, lower its operating costs.[6]
Originally maintained his competing Dell XPS line of gaming PCs, often sell computers with the same specifications. Line XPS can have evil Alienwares market share within its high-end segment of the market. Reason for corporate restructuring in the spring of 2008, was the XPS brand scaled down. Product development of gaming notebooks were consolidated with Dell's gaming division, with Alienware will be Dell's premier gaming brand.[7] On 2 June 2009, was The M17x introduced as the first Alienware/Dell-branded system. Alienware represents now premium performance space in Dell's consumer family of products.[8] This launch also extends Alienwares global reach from six to 45 countries.
March 25, 2009 stated that it is considering Alienware closes its manufacturing bases in Athlone, County Westmeath, Ireland, and in Miami, Florida.[9]
