Admiral Touch Headset Runs Android, Includes Gesture Controls

NOX audio clearly aims to up the standards for gaming headsets with his new Admiral and Admiral touch devices. Scheduled demo at CES, two headsets will feature 7.1-channel surround sound with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection. You can even use audio and communicate wirelessly on game consoles.

More proof that this is not your run-of-the-mill headsets: Admiral Touch sport is equipped with 2.4-inch LCD touchscreen and runs Android; There are controls gesture to access Pandora, last.FM and other programs. Built-in Wi-Fi enables both devices for Skype and other VoIP applications. Ear cups even turn to double as speakers.

Admiral or Admiral touch compatible with PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, mp3 players, home theatre and smart phones. Rechargeable Li-ion battery is rated for five hours of use.
